CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Barbecue lovers in Corpus Christi will soon have a new option to satisfy their cravings.

True Texas BBQ, a popular barbecue concept from H-E-B, is coming to the H-E-B Plus location on Saratoga Boulevard.

The restaurant will be part of a larger renovation project currently planned for the store. The $32 million renovation is expected to bring updates and improvements to the H-E-B Plus location.

True Texas BBQ is known for serving Texas-style barbecue favorites, including smoked brisket, St. Louis-style ribs, pulled pork and other classic barbecue dishes.

The addition marks another change coming to the Saratoga Boulevard store as H-E-B continues investing in its Corpus Christi locations.

H-E-B has not announced an official opening date for the new True Texas BBQ location.

Customers can expect more details about the restaurant’s opening and the ongoing store renovations as the project moves forward.
