It’s no secret that San Antonio loves its Chick-fil-A, with lines forming at locations across the city every day. A nearby city is expected to show the same fervor for the chicken chain when it rolls into the Texas town for the first time.
Chick-fil-A is days away from opening its first location in Pleasanton, according to a company news release. Customers can visit the brand-new location as early as 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 23. Local owner-operator Veronica Vasquez will lead the Pleasanton location, marking a new chapter in her 20-year journey with Chick-fil-A.
“As someone who grew up in San Antonio, I’m excited to put down roots in Pleasanton and serve this community,” Vasquez said in the news release. “Owning my own business has been a lifelong dream of mine.”
Customers who visit on opening day will have the opportunity to receive free food if they style themselves a certain way. Don your best cow-print clothing or accessories, or show up in an actual cow costume, and you will be able to redeem one free entree or a free kid’s meal. In other words, wear cow stuff and you can earn an easy freebie.
The free offer is limited to one item per person, provided they are wearing cow attire. Customers can choose from a selection of breakfast, lunch or dinner items, including but not limited to the chicken sandwich or the 8-piece chicken nuggets.
