Missouri Task Force 1 arrived Friday in San Antonio, Texas, after deploying from Missouri to assist with flood response efforts.
The deployment comes three days after the team’s return to Boone County following its response in southeastern Missouri.
The team has been repositioned farther south since Friday’s deployment, and members await further instructions, according to a release from the Boone County Fire Protection District.
Emergency managers have been assessing conditions throughout the affected areas in Texas, where officials are also monitoring rivers, like the Nueces River, for the possibility of reaching flood stage, according to the release.
Missouri Task Force 1 is rolling out to San Antonio, Texas, three days after returning from southeastern Missouri.
As they await assignment, team members have been training, checking equipment and studying procedures, according to the release.
