CCISD accepting applications for tuition-free online high school program

CCISD will host information sessions at 5:30 p.m. on July 23, July 30, Aug. 3 and Aug. 10.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi ISD is accepting applications for a tuition-free online high school program designed for students entering grades 10 through 12.

The program gives students access to flexible virtual, electronic and on-campus college learning opportunities through CCISD’s Early College High Schools and its partnership with Del Mar College.

Dr. Tracie Rodriguez, director of Early College High School Programs, said the program is intended for students who want to take a purposeful approach to completing high school and preparing for their futures.

“This is not a recovery program. This is not an ‘I want to get out of high school fast’ ticket,” Rodriguez said. “This is a ‘let’s be intentional about finishing high school to get you where you need to be and the best way to sustain a life you want to live.”, said Rodriguez.

CCISD will host information sessions at 5:30 p.m. on July 23, July 30, Aug. 3 and Aug. 10.

Families can attend in person at the Collegiate High School campus inside the St. Clair Building at 101 Baldwin Boulevard. Virtual attendance options will also be available.

Applications are currently open for the upcoming school year.
