FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A pilot was taken to the hospital after landing on top of a house in the Fulshear area on Monday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Fulshear fire officials shared an image of the yellow aircraft on the home along Kitty Hawk Street, saying several agencies are responding to the scene. DPS reported that the plane was attempting to land at a nearby airstrip.
According to the FAA, it was a Piper J3C-65 that crashed into the house. The agency said only the pilot was on board and that they would investigate.
The pilot was reportedly taken to Memorial Hermann Katy for minor injuries. It’s unclear whether there was anyone inside the home or if they were injured.
