Texas extends Oklahoma Task Force deployment by seven more days amid Three Rivers flooding

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA (KOKH) — The Oklahoma Task Force recently traveled to the Three Rivers area to assist in Texas floods.

According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, river levels are rising and the Choke Canyon Reservoir in the area is approaching capacity.

Oklahoma Task Force teams have been requested for an additional seven days by Texas officials.

All task force members are healthy, safe, and mission ready.
