At 1 p.m. on Tuesday, the NWS Fort Worth TX issued an updated extreme heat warning in effect until Wednesday at 8 p.m. The warning is for Denton, Collin, Tarrant, Dallas, Cooke, Grayson, Hunt, Hopkins, Rockwall, Kaufman, Van Zandt and Rains counties.
The NWS informs, “Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 111 degrees expected.”
“Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events,” comments the NWS.
This warning is in effect until Wednesday at 8 p.m.
