EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Parents who have not yet finalized their children’s registration for the 2026-2027 school year are invited to this sweet event.

Canutillo Independent School District will be hosting a Pan Dulce & Registration event from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 25 at the CISD Administration Building, located at 8965 Artcraft Rd.

Parents and guardians who have not begun or finished their children’s registration for the school year are encouraged to attend the event, while they enjoy some pan dulce and cafeicto.

Staff will be available to provide step-by-step assistance with online registration, answer questions and process registrations and transfers for all 10 Canutillo ISD campuses, according to a news release by the district.

To help speed up the registration process, parents are asked to bring the following documents:

Two utility bills as proof of residency

Parent’s government-issued photo ID

Child’s Social Security card

Child’s immunization records

Child’s birth certificate

Proof of income, such as a federal income tax return

“Canutillo ISD offers a wide range of educational opportunities for students at every grade level, including Montesorri education, dual-language programs, middle school academies, college credit courses, career and technical education programs and an early college high school,” according to the school district.

Parents who cannot attend the event can register online through Canutillo ISD’s website.
