The Prosper Eagles (8-1, 6-1) host the Plano West Wolves (6-3, 4-3) in a Class 6A Region I District 6 regular-season finale Thursday night at Children’s Health Stadium, with both teams looking to build momentum heading into the playoffs.
The Eagles dominated last year’s matchup with a convincing 51-10 victory over the Wolves to close out the 2024 regular season. Prosper enters the contest fresh off a 59-21 win at Princeton last week, while Plano West comes in well-rested after an idle week, having previously rebounded from consecutive losses with an impressive 56-22 victory over Princeton two weeks ago.
The Wolves will rely on junior quarterback Blake Tevis to orchestrate their offense as they seek to avenge last season’s lopsided defeat. Senior standout defender EJ Abraham anchors the Plano West defense that will face the challenge of containing Prosper’s high-powered attack that has scored 59 points in each of its last two wins.
Opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, November 6 with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network.
