LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Multiple agencies are responding to a crash at 66th Street and I-27 where at least two people have been seriously injured.
Police are calling this a “large scale collision.”
Northbound lanes are closed to traffic beginning at 82nd Street. The flyover for eastbound traffic to go northbound on the Interstate is also closed.
The public is asked to avoid the area.
Police tell us, “Officers were originally called to the scene at 7:23 p.m. for a report of an accident with injuries. Initial reports are that a driver was traveling south in the northbound lanes when it collided with two other vehicles near the 6500 block of Interstate 27.”
