Controversial shock-rocker Marilyn Manson will return to San Antonio for a two-night run at the Aztec Theatre on Oct. 17 and 18. Artist and Live Nation presale tickets are on sale now. General public ticket sales start at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster.
The back-to-back engagement marks both Manson’s latest release and his most successful album. The tour is named for Manson’s upcoming album, “One Assassination Under God — Chapter 2,” which drops Aug. 14. The shows also will celebrate the 30th anniversary of his 1996 breakout album, “Antichrist Superstar.”

“The celebration continues,” Manson posted on Instagram. “30 years of Antichrist Superstar with a special set that dives deep into this defining record and spans the milestones that followed. A tribute to where I began – and everything I have become.”
Manson rose to fame and infamy in the mid-’90s with his haunting cover of the Eurythmics’s “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” and hit “Antichrist” single, “The Beautiful People.” The gangly goth-metal artist became an instant MTV antihero, as well as a frequent target of right-wing politicians.
Manson sparked more serious outrage in 2021 when actress Evan Rachel Wood publicly accused him of physical and sexual abuse. Several other women made similar accusations, all of which Manson denied. In January 2025, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department closed its four-year criminal investigation of the allegations with no charges against Manson because of lack of evidence and the expiration of statute of limitations.
Manson first played San Antonio in 1999 at the Alamodome. He later performed at Freeman Coliseum with Smashing Pumpkins in 2015, then played the Aztec in 2018 and 2019.
