That multi-year project officially concluded with a grand opening celebration of the remodeled store on February 20. Further east, the Austin suburb of Bastrop also had plenty to celebrate in late May after work concluded on its two-year, $30 million H-E-B remodel. With an additional 21,000 square feet of retail space at 104 Hasler Blvd., Bastrop, TX 78602, those improvements included expanded curbside service, an upgraded tortilla bar as well as the addition of the city’s own True Texas BBQ.
Down south, the city of Kyle’s sole H-E-B debuted its long-awaited $28 million upgrade on May 1. The Kyle H-E-B Plus!, which first opened in 2007, had been under renovations for two years, with the expansion growing the storefront to 182,000 square feet.
