SAN ANTONIO – Several vehicles were hit by gunfire during a drive-by shooting late Sunday night at a community park in Far West Bexar County.

Police were called out just after 9:30 p.m. to the park off Dusty Run Lane near Tausch Drive.

Bexar County Sheriff’s deputies said when they arrived, they found three cars that had been hit by bullets. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Investigators said a white sedan and a gray vehicle had been parked next to each other when witnesses saw a man approach the cars. The white sedan then fled the lot, and occupants of the gray sedan fired multiple shots at it as it drove off.

Several neighbors reported hearing numerous gunshots. While some witnessed parts of the shooting, none could provide a clear description of the suspect or vehicle license plates.

Two individuals have admitted to being involved in the incident, acknowledging that the meeting had been arranged via social media, though they offered conflicting statements and were not fully cooperative.
