Stuff the Bus: Help Texas Panhandle students start school with the supplies they need

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Students across the Texas Panhandle will head back to class in August, but thousands will not have the school supplies they need because their families cannot afford them.

ABC 7 is asking you to help make a difference by donating to our annual Stuff the Bus from Aug. 3-9.

If you want to make your donation go a little further, Aug. 7-9 is Texas’ back-to-school tax-free weekend. Click here for a list of school supplies you can buy tax free.

School supplies can be dropped off at any of the four Roasters Coffee locations:

Grab a coffee on your way to work and donate school supplies without even getting out of your car. To order ahead, download the Roaster’s app.

You can also drop off supplies at Northwest Emergency at Eastern located at 4409 E Interstate 40.

All donated school supplies will be distributed by Teachers4Teachers, a nonprofit organization that helps teachers support students with educational and classroom resources.
