LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The West Texas Tornadoes are entering their third season of competition, and their first with new head coach Tracy Spencer, who is moving up from assistant.
The program has reached the playoffs in its first two seasons, and is looking to do the same in its third.
“We’ll do some of the traditional things. We’ll go some tight and we’ll go some spread. Really, we have lots of talent. We have six returning players, four of those were starters and so we’re actually starting the season off at a pretty good point,” Spencer said. “We’ve had some other players join and they’ve meshed in with the team very well so we have high expectations this season.”
The West Texas Tornadoes will play their home games at Wilson.
