SkyEye13 shows Highway 99 westbound at Cypress-Rosehill is shut down due to a wreck involving a concrete mixer on Monday morning.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A major wreck involving a concrete mixer is impacting traffic along a portion of Highway 99 in northwest Harris County on Monday morning.
Houston TranStar reported the incident at about 6:36 a.m., which completely closed the roadway on SH-99 Lanier/Grand Parkway North westbound after Cypress Rosehill Road. At about 10:45 a.m., one lane could be seen getting by as crews continue to clean up the crash.
SkyEye13 flew over emergency crews responding to the scene, where a concrete mixer from RS Concrete rolled over a ditch, trapping its driver, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

RS Concrete officials confirmed the accident involves their truck and employee. They said their employee was taken to a hospital and is expected to be OK.
Authorities have not said what led to the incident.
