TURNING UP THE HEAT

Each day will feature abundant sunshine and hot weather, as a heat high settles over Texas. Temps will be near or just above 100° each afternoon.

Rain will only be very spotty over the weekend as the heat high moves west. Chance is a measly 10%-20% by the weekend.

NUECES RIVER FLOODING

Even though the weather is quiet, the torrential rain we saw 2 weeks ago is still moving downstream through the Nueces River.

The Cotulla area is finally seeing the river recede, but communities in Live Oak County need to be on alert, as major flooding will begin from near Three Rivers to George West later this week.

The next area to flood along the Nueces is from Three Rivers to George West in Live Oak County. It will reach major flood stage by Thursday morning, and last through the weekend. (Copyright KSAT-12 2026 – All Rights Reserved)Daily Forecast
