Texas Rangers arrested four men in Northwest Austin earlier this month who authorities say were connected to a San Antonio home invasion. But one was released on bond before additional warrants were issued, and authorities are now asking for help locating him.
The July 8 operation led to the arrests of Rodney Robinson III, 21, and three other men, two of whom were also wanted on unrelated murder charges, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Authorities said Robinson was released on bond before additional felony warrants tied to the June 15 home invasion were issued and is now considered armed and dangerous.
Investigators had been searching for Robinson in connection with a June 15 home invasion in northeast San Antonio. The arrests were part of a joint operation between DPS and the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. Robinson is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators used license plate reader alerts to trace a vehicle associated with Robinson to an apartment complex near RM 2222 and McNeil Drive, DPS said.
Troopers attempted to stop Robinson after he and another man drove away from the complex shortly before 1 p.m., according to the agency. Robinson allegedly refused to pull over, leading troopers on a brief pursuit that ended after they used a maneuver to disable the vehicle.
DPS said Robinson then ran from the vehicle before troopers used a stun gun and took him into custody. He was initially arrested on a charge of evading arrest and outstanding warrants accusing him of evading in a vehicle, unlawfully carrying a weapon and possessing marijuana.
The passenger, 23-year-old Devion Sommers, was arrested on an outstanding murder charge in a separate case. He also faces charges of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony and engaging in organized criminal activity.
Later that day, a Texas Rangers SWAT team searched a third-floor apartment at the complex. Two men tried to escape by climbing down an exterior balcony but were found nearby, DPS said.
Nehemiah Pratt, 21, and Kentrell Guillory, 19, were arrested on burglary and organized criminal activity charges. Guillory was also wanted on a murder warrant from Louisiana.
Authorities recovered 11 firearms from the apartment, along with drugs and a vehicle, DPS said.
Sommers, Pratt and Guillory remained in custody as of Monday. Robinson, however, was released on bond before Bexar County authorities issued additional felony warrants tied to the home invasion.
