Construction on the new Hudson House location in Southlake’s Park Village is underway, much to the excitement of local residents and Hudson House fans.

The new 5,000-square-foot restaurant is going to be located at 1131 E. Southlake Blvd. in the same spot that used to house RA Sushi and right across from Gloria’s Latin Cuisine.

According to Southlake Mayor Shawn McCaskill, the old restaurant was completely gutted out to get the space ready for Hudson House.

Hudson House is known for its raw oysters that are flown in daily, and its famous “World’s Coldest Martini.” The restaurant has an East Coast vibe that customers say draws them in.

The Southlake location will be the 11th Hudson House in the DFW Metroplex. The Fort Worth location has been a big hit since 2023 when it first opened right off of Camp Bowie Boulevard.

This newest Hudson House was initially supposed to open this summer, according to previous reporting by the Star-Telegram, but the date has been pushed back to at least early fall.
