LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock Dream Center is collecting personal and household necessities through the end of July to help send students back to school prepared.
The center said it wants to focus on basic necessities, noting that many other organizations are already working to provide school supplies. Items being collected include toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, toilet paper, laundry detergent and disinfectant wipes.
The center said it has a system in place to work with area organizations to sign up families in need to receive the items.
