If your morning commute takes you through the Northeast side, prepare for a stall. A busy interstate in San Antonio is partially shut down on Tuesday, July 28, after a major crash happened on the southbound lanes.
The two left lanes on I-35 South at TX-218 and Exit 171 are closed as a result of the collision, according to the traffic monitoring site SigAlert. The site confirmed this at 7:25 a.m., and delays are still in effect, according to the report.
Vehicles are moving at 4 to 24 mph on the roadways, per SigAlert. A line of cars stretches all the way back to Schertz Parkway at Exit 174, according to TxDOT cameras. Currently, it is unclear as to what caused the crash and how many people were involved.
