Following the success of its sold-out inaugural Summer Music Series concert, Symphony Arlington invites audiences to experience the final two performances of the series at the Arlington Museum of Art, celebrating chamber music in an intimate setting with exceptional musicians and engaging programming.
On Saturday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m., Symphony Arlington presents Chamber Landscapes, an evening showcasing the remarkable depth and color of chamber music. The program features the poignant Elegy by Fort Worth-based composer Konrad Hartmann, Two Divertissements by American composer Thomas Ludwig, and concludes with one of the crown jewels of the chamber repertoire, Beethoven’s Septet in E-flat Major, Op. 20. Rich in lyricism, virtuosity, and warmth, Beethoven’s beloved Septet remains one of the composer’s most celebrated and accessible works.
The series concludes on Saturday, September 12 at 6:30 p.m. with A Night of Glenn Miller, an evening blending contemporary American works with the timeless music of the Big Band era. The first half will feature fanfares and original works by American composers Meyn, Blessinger, and Winfield B. Carson, V, before the brass quintet transports audiences back to the golden age of swing with beloved Glenn Miller classics.
Both concerts will be held at the Arlington Museum of Art, offering audiences a unique chamber music experience. The Summer Music Series allows patrons to experience professional musicians in an intimate venue where every seat is close to the performance, creating a personal connection between artists and audience.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (60+), and $5 for students and children. Admission is free with the purchase of a Symphony Arlington 2026-2027 Season Ticket or membership to the Arlington Museum of Art, making the Summer Music Series an ideal introduction to Symphony Arlington’s upcoming season.
