A person was shot on Wednesday in a residential section of far southwest Fort Worth, police said.
The victim was fired upon about 5:45 a.m. in the 3900 block of Golden Horn Lane. The victim, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was taken to a hospital, Fort Worth police said.
Police had not, at midmorning, found the assailants.
Many details about the shooting are unclear.
Officer Daniel Segura, a Fort Worth police spokesperson, did not immediately respond to a written question from a reporter that asked whether the victim is an adult or child or is male or female.
A Fort Worth Fire Department spokesperson did not immediately respond to a reporter’s message asking about the victim’s condition.
