MURRAY, KY — Murray State men’s basketball continues to add to its 2026-27 non-conference schedule, with Texas Southern now joining the Racers’ upcoming slate.
The Tigers will make the trip to the CFSB Center on Friday, November 13th.
Texas Southern has been one of the more consistent programs in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, making seven NCAA Tournament appearances since 2014 and winning six SWAC Tournament titles during that stretch.
The matchup is one of several tests Murray State has lined up before Missouri Valley Conference play begins.
The Racers will also face Tennessee State in the season opener at the Field of 68 Opening Day Marathon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and will take on Georgia Tech in a neutral-site matchup at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Murray State will also host Washington State and Morehead State during the non-conference portion of the schedule.
