Plano City Council on July 27 approved a $500,000 incentive package for Daisy Brand LLC, the food company known for its sour cream and cottage cheese, to relocate its corporate headquarters to a new 54,498-square-foot office at 5850 Granite Parkway.
To qualify for the incentive, the company must invest at least $10 million in property improvements by Dec. 31, 2027, according to city documents.
Founded in 1917, Daisy Brand is currently headquartered at 12750 Merit Drive in north Dallas. If the move comes to fruition, it would mark another high-profile corporate relocation from Dallas to Plano, following AT&T Inc.’s decision earlier this year to leave its longtime home at Whitacre Tower for a new billion-dollar headquarters on the former Electronic Data Systems campus.
Daisy Brand did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Last year, the company announced plans to build on its operations in Dallas-Fort Worth by renovating an existing 27,000-square-foot warehouse and building a new two-story, roughly 29,000-square-foot innovation center at 2025 Wall St. in Garland.
