A Fort Worth police officer is under investigation after being arrested in Springtown on Friday, July 24, on a drunk driving charge.
Officer K. Blasingame will remain on restricted duty during the ongoing criminal and administrative investigations, Fort Worth police confirmed in a statement Thursday.
Blasingame joined the department in 2016 and was most recently assigned to the Patrol Bureau, according to the statement.
More details about the arrest and the driving while intoxicated charge were not immediately available. The Star-Telegram has contacted Springtown police for further information.
