Summer is still dragging on in Lubbock (I’m hot and totally over it), BUT, Fall is on its way! The season change will eventually hit you out of nowhere, and you might want to prepare yourself to save money, time, and headaches later.

1. Replaces Your HVAC Filter

Your AC has been working overtime the entire summer. Replacing your filter for better airflow is a MUST. It will keep your system running efficiently and improve the air quality in your house.
2. Test Your Heater Before You Need It

You do NOT want to wait for the first chilly morning to turn on your heater only to find out that it’s on the fritz. Don’t worry about that slight burning smell. It’s usually just a little dust burning off after it’s been sitting idle for months. (If you see smoke or flames, though…that’s another story entirely.)
3. Seal Up Drafty Windows And Doors
