16-year-old killed in fatal stabbing (KPRC2/Click2Houston.com)
HOUSTON – Marcus Fernandez is now facing a murder charge, accused of stabbing 16-year-old Franklin Torres-Concho.
Torres-Concho’s body was found around 8 a.m. on September 30, 2025 along the Katy Freeway service road in the Heights.
According to police the teen was stabbed multiple times.
HPD released surveillance photos of the suspect about a month later.
Marcus Fernandez is currently in the custody of the Texas Department of Corrections on unrelated charges.
