CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — At Wednesday’s Nueces County Commissioners Court meeting, commissioners approved several agenda items, including an agreement with Advanced Construction Management for the Briscoe King Pavilion construction and renovation project.
The project is estimated to cost nearly $6 million and is expected to take 12 to 14 months to complete following approval of a development agreement.

County leaders said the agreement was revised so Advanced Construction Management will work directly with Nueces County rather than through the project’s architect. Commissioners said the change is intended to help avoid potential conflicts as construction moves forward.
