LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Two suspects wanted in connection with a murder have turned themselves in to the Lubbock County Jail, according to the Lubbock Police Department.

Trashod Willis and Shanquetia Lingard surrendered on Thursday afternoon. They were wanted in connection with the death of 60-year-old Arnold Tomlinson, who died Sunday morning at a hotel near Mac Davis and Avenue Q.
Tomlinson was found lying on the ground in front of a hotel room and later died at UMC.
A probable cause affidavit states surveillance video shows three people following Tomlinson out of a room. The video shows one man hitting him, a woman kicking him in the face, and another man — identified as David Thomas — striking him with a long, thin object and later moving his body.

Thomas was named a person of interest Sunday night and arrested Monday. Witnesses told detectives the room was rented in Thomas’s name and identified him by photo. He is charged with murder.
