EL PASO, TEXAS — All eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Vinton are closed following a multi-vehicle crash Thursday night, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
A sheriff’s office spokesperson said the crash happened on I-10 East just before the Vinton exit.
Officials said three vehicles were involved in the crash and that injuries have been reported. The number of people injured and the severity of those injuries have not been released.
Authorities have not said what caused the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Traffic is being diverted onto South Desert Boulevard, where motorists can re-enter Interstate 10.
Drivers are urged to expect delays and allow extra travel time while emergency crews work at the scene.
