Half the proceeds from every Blizzard sold Thursday at participating Dairy Queen locations will benefit Children’s Miracle Network at Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Buying a Blizzard on Thursday can help support children and families across South Texas.
Miracle Treat Day is returning to participating Dairy Queen locations across the Coastal Bend, with 50% of proceeds from every Blizzard sold benefiting Children’s Miracle Network at Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
This story continues below.
Participating locations include Corpus Christi, Aransas Pass, Alice, Robstown and Kingsville.
According to Jason Geiken with Driscoll Children’s Hospital, the money raised helps fund health and safety education programs throughout the region, physician training and financial assistance for families whose children need medical care but cannot afford it.
Last year, Miracle Treat Day raised about $25,000 for Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
Organizers said community support is critical to helping the hospital continue providing specialized pediatric care and resources for children across South Texas.
