EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 53-year-old woman is facing assault charges in connection with a viral video showing a fight at an East El Paso Starbucks.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Naomi Hernandez on Thursday as she had two outstanding warrants for assault causing bodily injury and was wanted by the El Paso Police Department in connection with a fight that happened on July 20 at the Starbucks on 6669 Gateway Blvd. W., which was caught on video and shared on the popular social media account @therealfitfamelpaso.

The Sheriff’s Office said Hernandez was arrested at around 12:15 a.m. on Thursday after deputies received information that she was on the 12600 block of State Street, near Eastlake Boulevard and I-10.
According to jail records, Hernandez was booked into the El Paso County Downtown Jail under a $10,000 bond and was released the same day after posting a surety bond.

The Sheriff’s Office shared the viral video as well as bodycam video of Hernandez being arrested.

In the bodycam section of the video, it appears Hernandez tells arresting deputies statements disputing the veracity of the viral video.
Hernandez can be heard saying, “those are all lies” and “people believe anything in the media.”
