COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Texas A&M football begins fall camp next week in preparation for the 2026 season, and the program has already announced several themed games at Kyle Field this fall.
The latest addition is the annual Maroon Out game, set for the Lone Star Showdown on Nov. 27. The Aggies have held a Maroon Out game every year since 1998, encouraging fans to wear maroon. Last year’s Maroon Out featured all-maroon uniforms and marked the biggest comeback in program history, with Texas A&M trailing South Carolina 30-3 at halftime before winning 31-30.
The last time the Aggies hosted Texas — two years ago — was also a Maroon Out at Kyle Field.
Other themed games announced
Texas A&M has also announced a Red, White and Blue game to mark the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11 and the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The third annual Blackout game is scheduled for Nov. 14 against Tennessee.
The Oct. 3 game against Arkansas will serve as Texas A&M’s 150th anniversary celebration. Uniforms for that game have not yet been announced.
