The Corpus Christi Trail Ride and Field Party returns with horseback riding, dancing, vendors, BBQ and family-friendly entertainment.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Cowboy boots, hats and plenty of country music will once again take center stage as the second annual Corpus Christi Trail Ride and Field Party returns this weekend near Petronilla.

The two-day event brings together trail riders, local vendors and families for a celebration of South Texas ranching traditions and community spirit.

Festivities begin Friday evening with a meet-and-greet followed by dancing, giving attendees a chance to socialize before Saturday’s main events.

The highlight of the weekend is Saturday’s trail ride, which begins at 4:30 p.m. Participants will then return for another evening of live entertainment and dancing.

Admission is $10 per person each day and includes access to a variety of activities throughout the weekend.

Guests can enjoy barbecue, browse merchandise from local vendors, test their skills on a mechanical bull and participate in dance competitions.

Organizers say the event is designed to welcome everyone, whether they’re experienced riders or simply looking for a fun weekend outing with family and friends.

The annual gathering continues to grow as more residents discover the unique blend of horseback riding, music, food and local culture that defines the event.

Additional event details and updates are available through the DH Coleman Trail Ride Facebook page.
