CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Bob Hall Pier will temporarily close to the public Friday, July 31, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. as construction crews work on the pier’s new restaurant, according to a press release from Nueces County Judge Connie Scott.

During the closure, contractors will pour the concrete walls for the restaurant space. For safety reasons, the entire pier will be closed, and no public access will be allowed during this time.

Barricades and caution tape will mark the work area, and construction crews will be on site throughout the project.

Visitors are asked to stay out of the construction zone and follow all posted signs so crews can safely complete the work.

The pier is expected to reopen by 1 p.m. Friday, once the concrete pour is finished and the area is safe for the public.
