The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office found a man was hit by an SUV while walking on the edge of the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
FORT WORTH, Texas — Law enforcement officials in Tarrant County are investigating a fatal crash that killed a pedestrian Friday night.
The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that deputies were called to reports of a crash just after 9 p.m. to the 7800 block of Ben Day Murrin Road in Fort Worth.
When the police arrived, they found an SUV had hit a man who was walking on the edge of the road, according to the sheriff’s office.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials have not yet identified the victim.
