SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man who was stabbed multiple times during a robbery attempt is recovering.
San Antonio police say the man went to a home on Janet Lee Drive at around 10 p.m. Thursday.
He was there to meet up with a woman, but he was met by another man instead.
The victim got into an argument with the man and when he tried to leave, the man demanded his wallet.
He didn’t hand it over and that’s when the man pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the leg and shoulder.
The victim managed to get to his vehicle and drove to a nearby gas station where he called for help. He was transported to a hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The man who stabbed the victim has been detained.
