Full Belly Cafe + Bar closed both of its San Antonio locations earlier this year, but there is a glimmer of hope for fans of the local brunch favorite. A message on the restaurant’s Yelp profile indicates the business may return in 2027.
Asian ice cream shop Kuma made waves with its bubble waffle creations when the business first launched in 2017. The business would go on for nearly a decade before closing its last location in 2026.
Like Fully Belly, Rolando’s Super Tacos on Shasta Avenue may be closed for now, but the cherished Southside spot may reopen at some point. At the moment, the building where the business operated is on the market for sale.
San Antonio-based Taco Blvd is known far and wide for its Rio Grande Valley-style tacos, amassing nearly 500,000 followers on Instagram since opening. However, the taco concept is without a functioning brick-and-mortar location after permanently closing its Alamo Ranch location and temporarily closing its Blanco Road location. The business continues to advertise online ordering.
