LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – We’re settling into a familiar routine this week: sunshine, triple-digit heat, and little rain chance.
High pressure will remain in control, keeping Sunday mostly sunny with light winds.
Slightly warmer today than yesterday with highs in the upper 90s and even 100s off the Caprock(KCBD)
High temperatures will reach the mid-90s across the region, including Lubbock. Areas off the Caprock climb to around 100 degrees.
Lows tonight will be mild but slightly cooler than nighttime temps last week.(KCBD)
The one small favor from Mother Nature comes Sunday night. Clear skies will help temperatures fall into the upper 60s and low 70s.

After that, expect a lot of copy-and-paste weather through next Saturday. Temperatures will be slightly lower than last week, but the hottest areas could still approach 101-104 degrees.
