California-based bakery SusieCakes is expanding its Dallas-Fort Worth footprint to include two more stores, the company announced this week.
One store is set to open this fall in Dallas’ West Village, and the other is opening next year in the upcoming Fields West development in Frisco.
“North Texas continues to be an incredibly important growth market for SusieCakes, and the response we have received from guests throughout the region has given us tremendous confidence in our continued expansion,” Susie Sarich, founder and CEO of SusieCakes, said in a statement.
SusieCakes is known for its scratch-made desserts and offers a variety of classic layer cakes, including Southern Red Velvet and Old-Fashioned Chocolate and Marble. The popular bakery is best known for its Vanilla Celebration Cake, according to a news release.
The two new North Texas stores will add to SusieCakes’ current D-FW locations in northeast Dallas, North Dallas and Fort Worth. The new stores will also “expand the brand’s presence in Texas to eight bakeries, further strengthening its position in one of the company’s fastest-growing markets,” the release said.
Founded by Sarich in 2006, SusieCakes now has more than 30 locations across California, Texas, Tennessee and Oklahoma. Throughout its expansion, the company has remained committed to its mission: to bake everything from scratch using simple ingredients, according to the release.
“As someone who calls Dallas home, it is especially meaningful to bring SusieCakes to two additional communities,” Sarich said. “These new bakeries represent an exciting next step for the brand and will allow us to become part of even more celebrations across Dallas-Fort Worth.”
The West Village location will be at 3699 McKinney Ave., Suite 318, Dallas, and the Frisco store will be at 5501 Fields Parkway, Suite B120, Frisco. https://susiecakes.com.
