Dallas house fire displaces 3 residents, officials say

According to Dallas Fire Rescue, crews responded to the fire at Sunday afternoon in the 6200 block of Lovett Avenue.

DALLAS — Three Dallas residents are without their home Sunday afternoon following a large house fire, officials said.

According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, crews were called to a 1-alarm fire at 1:49 p.m. in the 6200 block of Lovett Avenue.

While initially reported as a grass fire, officials say arriving crews found it to become a fully involved house fire upon arrival.

Crews declared the fire out at 3:03 p.m. according to officials, who also said no injuries were reported. Red Cross was notified about the three displaced residents.
