LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) -The Texas Department of Transportation’s Lubbock District will host a “Doing Business with TxDOT” event on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lubbock District Mesquite Training Center, 135 Slaton Road.
The event is designed to connect small businesses in the heavy highway construction industry with TxDOT staff, prime contractors and local resource partners. Attendees will learn about opportunities to participate in transportation projects and gain insight into working with TxDOT.
