“Landman” star James Jordan has seen the script for season 3.
Jordan recently shared the news with US Weekly while on the red carpet for “Lioness” season 3, which he also appears in as the character “Two Cups.” Like “Landman,” “Lioness” is also primarily filmed in Fort Worth.
During the interview, Jordan pulled out his phone and said he has the “Landman” season 3 script on it.
“I will guard it with my life,” Jordan said about the script. “But I snuck a quick peek. I really have to read it later, but it’s going to be amazing.”

‘Landman’ season 3 films soon
During the same interview, Jordan told US Weekly that filming on season 3 begins in September and will continue through early next year.
As for when season 3 releases, Jordan said he’s leaving it with the powers that be but is excited to get rolling again.
“It’s going to be fantastic. Taylor [Sheridan] is writing as we speak. It’s going to be 10 crazy, wonderful, funny and wild episodes — just like season 1 and season 2 have been. Billy Bob [Thornton] and everybody, we’re all ready to get back to work,” Jordan said.

“Landman” is described as a “modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.”

In addition to Jordan, “Landman” stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Andy Garcia, Paulina Chávez, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace, Colm Feore and Mark Collie.
Both seasons of “Landman” are streaming on Paramount+.
