San Antonio, Texas — The U.S. Marshals Service is asking for the public’s help in finding a 19-year-old man accused of removing his GPS monitor and violating the conditions of his pretrial release.
Anastacio Montez-Deoca is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.
Authorities say Montez-Deoca was previously arrested on charges of aiding and abetting the trafficking of firearms and illegally possessing a machine gun.
He was later released on bond under strict conditions, including home confinement and GPS location monitoring.
Deputies said Montez-Deoca allegedly removed his GPS monitor and disappeared. He is now without court-ordered supervision.
Montez-Deoca is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and a distinctive tattoo of lips across his neck.
Authorities warn that fugitives may attempt to alter their appearance to avoid being recognized.
His last known location was on San Antonio’s Northwest Side.
