One person was killed and others were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in Fort Worth early Monday, police said.
Officers responded to the crash about 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Felix Street and South Freeway, police said in a statement.
Investigators determined that one car was heading north on the Interstate 35 West service road toward East Felix Street, while another vehicle was driving east on East Felix, police said.

According to police, the driver of the first vehicle ran a red light at the intersection of 4800 I-35 service road and 700 East Felix road. The second vehicle, which had a green light, was heading east when the two collided.
Police said the second vehicle crashed with the front end of the fist vehicle. The first vehicle then collided into a traffic signal pole on the northeast corner of the intersection, police said.
The passenger of the first vehicle sustained major injuries and died at a local hospital, according to police. Other people involved were taken to nearby hospitals.
Police believe speed may have factored in the crash. Further details about how many other people were injured, or their conditions were not released.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
