SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — A man in his 40s was rescued from Mount Cristo Rey in Sunland Park and airlifted to the hospital after authorities said he fell from a 30 foot height.
According to the Sunland Park Fire Department, the rescue happened at around 5:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The man told rescue crews he had been there for about four or five hours.
SPFD did not specify the injuries the man suffered.
SPFD posted on social media a video showing the El Paso FIRE STAR 1 helicopter flying as part of the rescue.
