San Antonio Police officer involved in crash while responding to call

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio Police officer was involved in a crash while responding to a call late Tuesday night on the East Side.

The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of South New Braunfels Avenue and Denver Boulevard.

Police said the officer was pulling onto South New Braunfels Avenue while responding to a call when a sedan collided with the patrol vehicle.

The officer and the driver of the sedan were both evaluated by EMS at the scene. Neither person was injured.
