Included in the approximately 16,250-square-foot project scope is a proposed 8,000-square-foot wave pool, a 4,000-square-foot wave pool building, a 1,250-square-foot events building as well as a 3,000-square-foot splash area.
Under current project timelines, construction is expected to begin on October 31, 2026 and wrap work on or around October 31, 2027. TDLR filings are preliminary and both timeline and cost estimates are subject to change.
Located at 2525 W. New Hope Drive, Cedar Park, TX 78613, Veterans Memorial Pool currently features an 8,300-square-foot outdoor aquatic facility alongside a water playscape, dive platform, drop slide as well as a zero-depth “beach” zone. Its current summer hours run through August 9 before the pool transitions to its updated schedule, operating weekends only — noon to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays — August 10 through Labor Day.
