Port Aransas Swim Team members brought home six first-place medals from the Texas Amateur Athletic Foundation (TAAF) Summer Games of Texas state meet held Thursday through Sunday, July 30 to Aug. 2.
Winning first place at the meet held in Bryan-College Station were Kalen Reiter, 6, who won first place in the Boys 6 & Under 25-meter freestyle.
The 8 & Under girls team of Magnolia Collins, 8, Eliza Smith, 8, Sloan Smith, 8 and Kennedy Gunn, 7, brought home first-place medals in the 100-yard freestyle relay.
Laura Derkits won first place in the Women 50-54, 50-yard freestyle.
